The Oil Ring requires manual pumpin to start the cycle to then be regulated by increasing the resistance to the dynamos stator...and max speed limiter contains a max pressure pressure safety valve and vents the oil if run away effect occurs due to electronics failure... a speed limiter within the drive shaft assembly . .The design then intended to heat side walks...also makes a great bicycle bike rack....if half way burried..
